I plan on re-opening my practice, Smooth Reflections, starting Monday, April 20, 2020. My mission is to keep everyone safe; therefore, I will be implementing and following the CDC Department of Health Guidelines.
With my practice, I see one patient at a time. I plan on staggering my schedule allowing time in between each client to sterilize and disinfect all areas of my workspace. This additional time in between appointments will also minimize any client interactions.
Steps I am taking during the Coronavirus pandemic:
• If you are sick or have a temperature; stay home
• If possible, come alone
• I will be wearing a mask and gloves while working on you
• Between each patient, I will be cleaning and disinfecting all areas of my workspace
• I will be washing hands before and after each patient
Use common sense and your best judgment in protecting your own health and the health of others. If you are feeling ill, recently experienced symptoms of an infectious disease, or were in contact with someone who was symptomatic we ask that you stay home.

Good Morning World!
I have often talked about retiring. This epidemic has convinced me I am not ready. I miss working and seeing you all so much! You are my clients, friends, my family! With social distancing being the solution, It makes me wonder when will I be able to return. I feel fortunate that i usually have one in, one out. Maybe I will just schedule breaks so I have no one crossing paths...sterilizing the area as well. The problem will be the client will not be able to wear a mask. Being specialized with what i do. I will not risk any one person. As responsible adults if we all take our temps, self quarantine if we should be exposed, just maybe sooner then later we all could get back to work. My hope and prayer is you all are staying healthy, I look forward to seeing you all VERY soon.

As of now I am temporarily closed! Will keep you posted! Prayers for us all!

Thank you,
Julee Bourne

I have been waiting to write this update for a few weeks now. Amazing I still do not have a definitive answer as to what is going on.
As a previous post, I put and let you know that Elizabeth Has been having health challenges for the last seven weeks… she has a blood clot at the tip of her middle finger on her left hand. She also had cellulitis in the right arm which trumped the blood clot on the left side… That in itself has a story that is ongoing… up to today we have seen a nurse practitioner, Family Health Dr., vascular surgeon, hematologist, gastroenterologist, back to a new vascular surgeon, hand surgeon, And a radiologist…All of the Prior mentions have been jumping through hoops just trying to figure out this medical marvel… bottom line is that she has a blood clot, but what’s makes it so interesting and difficult is when they tracked the artery that is a problem child it stopped and disappeared at the elbow… So where do we stand now? She is currently waiting for the hand surgeon to figure out the way, the why, and what the heck! He is currently discussing this problem with his colleagues, he has never seen this before… The hematologist is trying to figure out her blood… And she is now currently at Wayne hospital for the afternoon getting two units of blood… so give her a big shout out… And your prayers and thoughts are totally appreciated and welcome! I am currently at VA medical center checking on the big brother who had a bowel resection on Thursday. He is stable and doing well… A full recovery is expected… Give him a big shout out! Prayers and messages are welcome! Love you all!

Dreaded blog update!
Biggs has been home two weeks now… He’s gained 3 pounds, A whole lot of vitamin D, and he still doesn’t have a truck. His activities have included going to the fair with Henry, Going to the fair with Kent, playing golf with Henry, playing golf by itself, playing golf with anybody who will play with him! Looking for a truck with Henry, looking for a truck with Kent…And he squeezes me in there somewhere in between… Love having him home!
Just wanted to update everyone on Elizabeth… She has not been feeling well, her blood pressure was extremely low, her heart rate was high, she has swelling on the right side of her face, and what appears to be bursitis in her right elbow, and it looks like she may have Raynaud’s Disease in one finger on her left hand…. And did I say she also was diagnosed with a UTI all in all…This all adds up to a whole a lot of confusion that went something like this…
Went to the doctor on Tuesday saw the nurse practitioner, went to the doctor on Friday sent to ER, was admitted to Wayne hospital Friday, Saturday transferred to Kettering Hospital… And that is where we stand now so everybody give a big shout out to Elizabeth Sloan who stuck in a bed reading her Facebook…
Henry still a brat… And Jillian‘s on day 450,296… So that’s the dreaded blog update love to all please give a shout out to Miss Elizabeth she loves hearing from everyone. Till the next time, Dreaded blog over and out!

Bonus Day Blog - Well good morning everyone, it has been approximately 36 hours since I got home (This is Biggs) and I just wanted to say thank you to Julee and everyone who commented or liked the blogs. I want to tell you I did enjoy my trip in the Philippines, I love my job, I love to train, and I love to meet new people, I got to meet 4 new reps (Chen, Jo-Er, Francis, and Barney) they are delightful people and my life has been made richer for meeting them. Plus I got to see all the rest of the folks that I have had the privilege of training in the past. I got to meet up with Louie, Mary, Joyce, Amor, Jen, Abigail, Cess & Cat, plus everyone else there. The Hotel that I stayed at was second to none, the staff there was just amazing, they made it like a second home,

I know these trips abroad are hard on me, my family and friends. I think they understand why I do this, and to be honest it is very hard for me to leave, but as I stated, I go over there hoping to enrich peoples lives with the way I live mine. I'm sure they get tired of me speaking about Julee, Jill, Henry and my life here, but what I show them is a committed man who is truly focused on making their lives better as well.

Everytime Julee wrote the blog, and I know at times she would hate to write it, but what it did was give me that little piece of home, that I miss and love. It made me miss home even more, especially when she was having fun. Yeah She had fun without me, and that is fine, because I had fun at times as well.

Julee and I are partners, and we love doing things together, we live for that, but we are individuals that love doing things by ourselves as well, but we will always find each other; and we have found each other, I am back home and enjoying life with her, Jill, Henry and friends.

So again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading her blogs, I know some were long, some were short, there were guest writers (that was always a treat). I will try to see if I can get her to write once a month or so, or maybe I'll just travel again (just kidding) so she can write again everyday.

Love you all ----- Biggs

Day 1 FINALLY!
One hundred sixty three days later. I woke up my usual four am! Ugh but , all is right in my world! Biggs has landed safely in Japan, and right now headed to the good ole 🇺🇸 USA!!! Now to get through The rest of the day till 5 PM. I don’t have too many things to do today… I’m going to recap yesterday crazy day. We have a new baby name Thomas Edwin or Bradley not sure of middle name. He arrive safely by C-section in Columbus… Cannot wait to hold that baby. It kind of makes me a grandma by default. He belongs to one of my oldest and dearest friends daughters. Congratulations to Theresa And Edwin Wiest, and of course the mama and papa Tish and Travis! My favorite uncle underwent surgery, I thought it was today the surgery that is… And I’m happy to report the surgery went well, it was cancer but it was a good cancer ( if there is such a thing) but the final results will be here Monday… The report was positive!
So needless to say it was a crazy day my adrenaline was off the chart. According to Henry we’re going to put psycho mom to rest! So why am I up at 4 AM writing this dreaded blog…
So it’s now 2:33 PM I’m going to give a little update haven’t heard from Siegfried since he landed in Japan but that’s not unusual he should be landing here soon… Interesting fact I went to the grocery and for the last six months I maybe have spent $75. If I have to get paper products, and detergent it could go up to $100. So I went to the grocery and I almost spent more money today than I have in six months what the heck… I don’t know if I can’t afford to have him back here… LOL. Just kidding he is priceless! Could the day go any slower!
Finally just heard from him… He is in Detroit… Finally
Mr Biggs is in the house ! I am so thankful for all the words of encouragement and love throughout this absent! I love my guy so much, but always love when I do my thing Monday’s thru Wednesday!!! I could hardly stand my days off… You may wonder why? My schedule is so routine… Thursday I clean house and get everything ready because come Friday we do everything together! 90% of my time is spent with that guy. We have so much fun together even if it’s just going to Walmart… He harasses everybody in the aisles or at the checkout, or were hanging with our friends. Running to do something for Jillian. Whatever it was where you seen one you saw the other… Unless that was on the golf course! My point is my partner in crime is back, my better half my heartbeat! And that my friend is the end of the dreaded blog…

Day 1: Well, the blessed son here, The day has finally come. I told Mom I would write the second to last blog and she could cover once he's actually home. It seems that this blog has taken on a life of its own. The comments seem to want this to continue even after Bigs is home for good, to which I say we're going to need a lot more guest writers! As much as my Mom, my sister, and I and even sometimes Jesse have dreaded this, it really has been a fun experience. I never really got why my Mom would write it or why she even started it, but I think because it's a part of home. When your 3000 miles away, I'm sure it helps to know that not only are Bigs family missing him, but all of you who have joined in on the fun that is the life of the Bournes. While sometimes Mom would post a little too much information (aka the smudge story) or complain about my wrongdoings (me.. wrong?) you guys have stuck it out with us. You've helped Bigs get a bigger taste of home than even us writing could give him. Whether it was small encouragements, or laughing at a story or a simple like, you were giving Bigs even more support. So to all of you following the blog (Hopefully Ellen Degeneres so we can go viral) I appreciate your love and support of my father as he's completed his time over in Manilla. It has been a long time since I've last seen him, and I can honestly say I'm a different person since I last saw my dad in person (mostly just less hair... Thanks Dad) but I can't wait to share the stories of great golf shots, funny work moment, and just general stuff you share with your Pops. Thanks to all who have followed, and to Dad, who's the only guy who would travel to a foreign country and eat Salmon for 48 straight days, We've missed you. I hope all of you are ready to see the grand finale blog tomorrow... I know I am (I'm ready to see Dad, you guys probably will get a video or something).

Day 2
Well we’re down to two days, the yard has not been cut for six months and the house is a shambles… It’s nothing without you in it! So you need to get home pretty quick the place is falling apart! Henry is not speaking to me, well he is speaking I just don’t see him! Our schedules have become extremely Laid-back! We even watch TV in our bedroom’s! I know that’s a big taboo with you, but there are some things you’re going to have to re-adapt to! Number one like living with your wife again! You know she’s very high maintenance, and I don’t know if there’s enough room in our king size bed! Lol Your car well don’t let me tell you about it… Sorry about the bump on the right side I swear I didn’t see that pole! I’ll try and get the garbage wrappers out before you arrive home, and oh yeah you need gas and yeah probably and oil change! Henry is complaining that there’s no snack food in the house, there’s not even any popcorn! He said it like dad‘s already home! The excitement is starting to build as well as the stress!

I’d like to personally thank all the folks in the Philippines that commandeered his little surprise goodbye party! I know he was truly overwhelmed, and blessed. He will miss you all! Facebook makes our world a lot smaller! You make him proud by your success! Work hard and remember to use your tools LOL I think that’s a cliché line with him! So until tomorrow I bid you all Goodnight from the dreaded blog!

My friend Kim, son is having a procedure tomorrow, She is on her way driving to Buffalo. There was a sweet 16 birthday that a daddy didn’t get to attend! Another friend will be having surgery at the end of the month for a cancer scare! I heard that another friend is in town driving her father to chemo treatments! A lot going on in my little world. But I asked that our father gently take each and everyone of these individuals and all my other friends and caresses them, heal them, And blesses them!
My girl Stephanie is just starting her journey and it has been somewhat difficult! The food has had some issues so she has not really eaten a meal in a couple days! I’m going to fix that girl up a goodie bag and send it on!
