🌞🔥🌸🌼Summer Solstice ≈ Litha Celebration, June 20th🌼🌸🔥🌞

What seeds have you planted and how are they taking shape in your life? 🌱

The Summer Solstice or Litha, marks the longest day and the shortest night of the year. ☀️Our planting is done and seeds of all forms are coming into form. Litha is a time to experience the full energy of the sun and let it nourish the heart and support joy in our lives!

Join us on Saturday, June 20th from 3:00-8:00 pm as we celebrate Litha, and the joy and richness the sun and this Earth give us. We hope to see you there!

Schedule:

3:00 pm Herbal Workshop 🌿🪴

We are excited to once again host Allison Clark Moran, of Yellow Heart Sisters, who will be sharing about the medicinal power that herbs hold for us.

4:30 pm Drum Circle 🪘 🥁

Robin Cardell, of Oshkosh Rhythm Institute, honors us again this year with a sacred Drum Circle. Robin is a gifted facilitator of these group sessions, don't miss out! Join us for this special opportunity to make music together!

We did it! We were part of MilwaukeeRiverkeeper breaking a Guinese World record!! So proud of our Bridget Center’s mighty team of volunteers this year. 🎉 We are at the top of the Northern Branch of the Milwaukee River. What we do here, matters downstream.

Totaled 2082 Volunteers, over 100,00 lbs of trash collected from the river @ 120 locations.

The River is owned by all of us and we are all called to steward it. If you see trash in the street please pick it up. 🙏All drains directly into the river and remember, the river runs through us! 🫶🏻Thank you

Milwaukee Riverkeeper's 31st annual spring cleanup brought Earth Week to a close, and set a Guinness world record in the process on April 25. Subscribe to FOX6 News Milwaukee: https://www.youtube.com/user/fox6now?sub_confirmation=1 Watch FOX6 News Milwaukee Live: https:...

There is something deeper woven into this season…

Beyond what we’ve come to know as Easter,
there are ancient roots that honor the feminine energy of spring
the energy of renewal, fertility, and new life.

Ostara/Easter (Eostre)

A goddess of dawn, of light returning,
of the earth awakening after winter’s rest.

She represents the Maiden
playful, fertile, full of possibility.

The symbols we still carry today…
they didn’t come from nowhere.

This time of year invites us to reconnect…

This is a season of rebirth.

What is ready to come to life?
What is asking to be nurtured, explored, and expressed?

🌿 Let this be a time of expansion.
🌸 Of self-love.
🌞 Of playful energy returning to your days.
🌗 Of finding balance between doing and simply being.

Just like the earth
you are already in the process of becoming.

A beautiful Water Blessing to honor the Essence of Spring Equinox.
🌿🌿💦💧💧🌿🌿

We gathered in circle…
each of us arriving with our own reason.

And yet, there was a shared thread
a quiet longing for connection…
to each other…
and to the natural world that sustains us.

We began by turning inward.

With oils in our hands—Rosemary, Peppermint, Frankincense—
we offered a blessing to our own bodies.

A simple act…
and yet so deeply needed.

A remembering that we, too, are worthy
of care, intention, and renewal.

Then we turned to the water.

One by one, voices rose,
some whispered, some spoken.

Peace.
Love.
Unity.
Respect.

Intentions carried into the water…
held, honored, and shared.

Together, we brought the water outside
to meet the fire.

Honoring the elements
Brigid’s sacred companions.

We stirred…
we infused…
we co-created.

A blend of intention, minerals, and time
returning what was once buried
back into the living earth.

With pine sprigs in hand,
we walked the land…

offering this blessed water
back to the earth.

A quiet act of reciprocity.
Of relationship.
Of remembering.

We closed gathered around the fire…
sharing food, warmth, and presence.

And for a moment…
everything felt in harmony.

Even the weather softened
a 70° day, as if the earth herself was joining us.

✨ A reminder…

When we slow down,
when we honor the elements,
when we come together with intention…

we remember that we are not separate from nature,
we are part of it.
