Heads up! The Kinder Clinic will be CLOSED this coming Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day.

As Covid wanes, the stomach bug thrives 😐. Unlike some of the stomach viruses we've seen over the last few months, this one is more vomiting than diarrhea. Watch for signs of dehydration, and give us a call if you need some anti-nausea meds or are experiencing severe symptoms. More info in the graphics.

You've probably heard the term "COPD." This chronic condition is often mentioned as a risk factor when discussing other concerns. Unlike other chronic conditions, though, this one isn't often a byproduct of your family history or age. It's most often driven by lifestyle – specifically smoking or va**ng.

‼️ Today's What's Going Around is not an illness you might catch – it's a potentially life-threatening social media trend called the Benadryl Challenge.

This "challenge" encourages people to ingest significant amounts of Benadryl to get high. We've seen it in person, and it's not something anyone wants to deal with. While even an accidental Benadryl overdose can cause these symptoms, we're seeing it intentionally among teens.

More info in the images. If you suspect a Benadryl overdose, that's an immediate call to 911 and Louisiana Poison Control. It can get serious quickly.
