Let’s Clear This Up: There is NO such thing as “GLP-3” !!
We’re seeing a lot of misinformation circulating, so let’s set the record straight…
There is no medication or hormone class called “GLP-3.” This term is being incorrectly used, often to market or describe Retatrutide (“Reta”).
Here’s the truth:
✔️ Retatrutide is a triple hormone receptor agonist (GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors)
✔️It is currently in clinical trials
✔️ It is NOT FDA-approved at this time
✔️ It has NOT been released by the manufacturer for public use
What is a hormone receptor agonist?
It is a substance (drug or neurotransmitter) that binds to a cell receptor and activates it, producing a biological response that mimics a natural substance.
So what does that mean?
If something is being sold or advertised right now as “Retatrutide” or “GLP-3”… it is not legitimate, FDA-approved Retatrutide.
As healthcare professionals, safety and transparency matter. Medications that are still in clinical trials have not yet been proven safe or effective for public use, and sourcing them outside of approved channels carries serious risks.

Please stay informed and do your research before purchasing and injecting yourself with unknown substances from unknown sources. If you were in a true clinical trial it would be through the manufacturer of that drug with many follow up appointments.
