We are excited to introduce Dr. Ryan Prieto!

Dr. Ryan Prieto is now accepting new patients at Martin Dentistry of Kingsport.

He provides comprehensive care, offering a wide range of services tailored to each patient’s needs. His approach to dentistry is centered not only on relieving pain, but also on restoring patients’ confidence and function.

Dr. Prieto offers a wide scope of dental procedures for his patients, with a strong focus on root canals and surgical dentistry, including extractions and implant treatment ranging from single-tooth implants to full-mouth implant dentures. He’s drawn to this work for its power to change patients’ lives, combining the latest technology with skilled surgical care to restore patients’ ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. He has completed training in oral sedation and continues to broaden his surgical scope through the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program, as part of his ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry. He has also volunteered his skills at the Veterans Mission of Mercy in Nebraska, providing free dental care to those in need.

A native of a small suburb outside Chicago, Dr. Prieto recently relocated to the Tri-Cities with his fiancée, Katie, a registered nurse. The two met at the College World Series while watching Tennessee take on LSU. Outside the office, he enjoys getting outdoors in East Tennessee, including hiking, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoys staying active, working out, and running races.

We are excited to introduce Dr. Anna Jemi-Alade!

Dr. Anna is now accepting new patients at Martin Dentistry of Johnson City.
Dr. Jemi-Alade enjoys creating genuine connections with her patients and bringing a warm, upbeat presence to every visit. She believes excellent dentistry starts with understanding each patient’s individual needs and goals. She especially enjoys caring for patients who experience dental anxiety and strives to create an environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and at ease.

Dr. Jemi-Alade earned her DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her residency (AEGD) at Spartanburg Community Dental Center, where she received advanced training in implant dentistry (including single-tooth, bridge, and full-arch treatment, as well as bone grafting and sinus augmentation), oral surgery, wisdom tooth removal, IV sedation, endodontics, restorative dentistry, and digital dentistry.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Jemi-Alade enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new hiking trails, playing pickleball, cooking, and staying involved in her community. She has volunteered with organizations supporting children, individuals with disabilities, and underserved communities. She is also an intermediate-level Spanish speaker and enjoys connecting with patients from a variety of backgrounds.
