**Let's begin the Awakening Festival around a table, before the music fills us with total inspiration.**

Join BreakBread on **Friday, August 14** at **Bearsville Theater** for the Opening Night Community Dinner of the Awakening Festival. Together, we'll share a meal (make sure to bring a dish), have a conversation around the theme of "awakening", and remember what becomes possible when strangers take the time to truly listen to one another.

Then, return the following evening as **Krishna Das'** takes the stage for a powerful night of kirtan and devotion. It's a beautiful way to begin a weekend centered on connection—first through conversation, then through music.

What a wonderful Woodstock Center for Awakening Community in Woodstock on June 14! We circled around the "liberation" prompt and conversations travelled from deep hearted gratitude for generous witnessing to deeply philosophical meanderings – Jung, Keats, Negative Capability.
