📢 Registration is now open!

Join Adaptive Design Hudson Valley on Saturday, June 27, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM for our Level 1 Continuing Education Course designed for Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

This hands-on course introduces participants to adaptive design, cardboard carpentry, and creative problem-solving. Upon completion, participants will receive 4 continuing education credits.

Whether you’re looking to expand your clinical toolkit, explore low-cost adaptive solutions, or gain hands-on fabrication experience, this course is a great place to start.

Summer Camp registration is officially open at Adaptive Design Hudson Valley! ☀️

This summer we are excited to offer two hands-on camps for middle school age students:

3D Printing Camp
Kingston Artists Downhill Derby Building Camp

Both camps are beginner-friendly and centered around creativity, collaboration, problem solving, and hands-on fabrication. Campers will learn new skills while exploring how art, design, and accessibility can come together in exciting ways.

Space is limited and registration is first come, first serve.

Recently, we delivered many adaptive devices to Bard Preschool focused on positioning and participation for their students.

This request included custom slant boards, small rockers, and seat inserts — thoughtfully painted by our fieldwork student, Makenzi.

These devices were designed to help support comfort, positioning, engagement, and participation throughout the school day, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the staff at Bard Preschool to help meet these students’ needs.
