As many of you know, plans are underway to re-open the shop some time in June or July . Dawn will be rejoining the staff as the body piercer as long as health issues allow her too. PLEASE DISREGARD THE POST BELOW ALL PLANS HAVE CHANGED SINCE THE TIME OF THIS POSTING, BUT I FEEL LEAVING IT UP IS A NICE REMINDER OF THE FRIEMDS AND CLIENTELE AND THEIR KINDNESS DURING A VERY HARD TIME IN MY LIFE AND THAT THAY ARE THE REASON WHY I RECONSIDERED LEAVING THE AREA.

DRAGONS DEN will not be re=opening. Shannon is leaving Saturday 1-20-18 to go to Arkansas after just going through a divorce. We are truly sorry this is where things are but it is sometimes the hand life gives you. We appreciate everyone who has been through our door over the last 25 years and it has been an honor and a privilege to serve you all. We regret having to close for good, but Shannon is looking to start a new life far from here after what has been a very painful separation from his soon to be ex-wife, we wish everyone well, and again thank you for everything you have done for us by allowing us to serve you over the last 25 years. Dawn will still be available for piercings just pm her personal page. Good bye and good luck to everyone

RE-OPENING IN JANUARY 2018

After 2 months of searching for the right place to re-open the shop we have finally made progress. a decision has not been made yet, we have narrowed our new location down to a few spots, sometime next week we will make the decision on the new location for Dragons Den. There will be some work to do before we re-open, so right now we expect to be open in early January. Shannon & Dawn will be available for tattooing and piercing while the new shop is getting ready for our grand re-opening. Anyone interested in getting tattoos or piercings can contact us through our personal pages by PM, Shannon Cragle and Dawn Tiglio-Cragle. We are working by appointment only right now as our time s being split between continuing to work and getting everything ready to re-open at our new location. We look forward to seeing our clients very soon, and we thank you all for your patience and understanding during this relocation process, we look forward to getting back to our normal business operations very soon.

As of Monday October 9th the shop will be closed Until around January as we are moving to a new location and this move is not going to be a quick nor easy process. This move was sudden and unexpected and we are searching for the perfect location for the new shop, mist be a high traffic area as well as a minimum of 1200 square feet, also needs to either be set up the way we need it or we are allowed to do whatever renovetionsvwe need to get the place the way we need it and it is going to take a little time to find exactly what we need as we ate not willing to settle for something that is not up to our expectations like the Wyoming Ave. location was.

Many people have asked why we were moving, as well as many people spreading rumors about a situation they know nothing about, so here are the FACTS. Our lease had expired in September and we were presented with a new lease that was going to nearly double our rent. This was precipitated by the landlord in the hopes that we would refuse the terms of the lease as he has another part interested in our location as well as the upstairs storefront. We attempted to negotiate more reasonable terms but there was no intention on his part of any outcome other than us moving out so he could rent 2 properties and secure a tenant long term in those storefronts. Unfortunatelu for the property owner that backfired in his face when the perspective new tenant had a conversation with me and I informed him that the land lord went out if his way to do anything he could to get us out so the property could be rented to the other people at a much higher price than we currently paid. Once the gentlemen learned what kind of person the land lord is he backed out not wanted to do business with a man who has no morals and who's only motivation is pure greed. So mow both store fronts will sit empty, hopefully for another 3 years like it did before we moved in. We received 5 days notice to be out of the property which allowed us no time to even look at other properties for a new location and be ready to move and reopen with no down time. We are looking into every property we find in the Kingston area. As a result of the actions of our landlord our attorney was contacted We looked into our legal rights and were told that without a lease in place we had no rights and were given the minimum amount of time the law allows a tenant in a commercial property. We scrambled to get the shop packed up and put into storage as we look at new locations. A decision will be made in the next day or two as we look at other locations and consider rent prices and any renovations it may take to get the shop up to professional standards. We hope to get a lease done and have our stuff moved in and be ready to open as soon as this weekend, worst case if we have to do major renovations we plan to be open by next week at the latest. We will post any updates on our page as the process moves along, so check for news as we will keep everything updated as much as possible. We thank you for your support and business in the past and hope to service our clients in our new location when we reopen, we will continue to offer the same high quality work and professional service we have always offered our clients and hope that this bump in the road is over in a few days.
