University of Rhode Island Music Therapy students Jaqui and Lilah represented Hands in Harmony and the URI Music Department's Music Therapy program at the Somerset Berkley SEPAC Resource Fair! 💙🎶

As part of the program, students complete specialty project hours that include community education and advocacy for Music Therapy. Jaqui and Lilah connected with families, shared information about services, and even brought music to the event!

Thank you both for representing our programs, and thank you to the organizers for including us!

As the on-site clinic for the URI Music Therapy Program, we are proud to provide students with hands-on clinical experience alongside and under the supervision of one of our Licensed, Board-Certified Music Therapists ✨

From working with clients across the lifespan at our clinic to gaining experience in Early Intervention, schools, residential and assisted living settings, and medical placements, students build their clinical skills while receiving direct supervision and mentorship from our team.

We are excited for another semester supporting the next generation of Music Therapists! 💙🎶

Our team works incredibly hard every day to support the individuals and families we serve, and we are so grateful for everything they bring to Hands In Harmony. 💙

We recently had the chance to spend some time together on Block Island! Celebrating our incredible staff, enjoying each other’s company, and recognizing a very special milestone: Kristi’s 15-year anniversary with Hands In Harmony! 🎉

Fifteen years of dedication, compassion, music, and making a difference is certainly something worth celebrating. Congratulations, Kristi!! A huge thank you to our entire team for all that they do! ⚓️💙
