WCDSNB takes on WORLD OF COCA-COLA‼️🐻‍❄️

This morning, our Residential and Community Supported Individuals, along with our team members, loaded charter buses and hit the road!!! ATL was not ready for us, but we came, we saw and we conquered. What an amazing experience we had at World of Coca-Cola today! We explored, we created and we even taste tested various flavors of coca-cola products!🥤

A night to remember... 🕺🏾💃🏾🪩 On June 19, 2026, we hosted our annual prom for our supported individuals. The Theme for the night was "HARLEM NIGHTS" ♣️♥️♠️♦️🎰...here are a few pictures from the night. Enjoy!

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸 Grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the sacrifices that made them possible, and the time spent celebrating with family, friends, and community.

Today we celebrate the birth of a nation and honor those who have helped preserve the freedoms we cherish. May we never take those blessings for granted. Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

Happy Juneteenth ❤️💚💛🖤

“…Even though the Emancipation Proclamation was made effective in 1863, it could not be implemented in places still under Confederate control. As a result, in the westernmost Confederate state of Texas, enslaved people would not be free until much later. Freedom finally came on June 19, 1865, when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that the more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state, were free by executive decree. This day came to be known as "Juneteenth," by the newly freed people in Texas.” (National Museum of African American History and Culture)
