This is Shamika, owner and operator of Hairmporium Salon, Salon owner for over 10 years and a love for the beauty industry she has united with UNC Lenoir and the American Cancer Society to bring awareness of the effects in which cancer causes in her very own community. On August 17th, 2019 her salon will host its first Cancer Survivors Gala, at the Kinston Community Center (formerly the Woodmen) in Kinston, NC. The purpose of the Gala is to raise funds to continue the workshops provided at her salon, at no cost to each participating participant. Tickets are $20 for non-survivors and free for all survivors. It will truly be an evening with the Stars! ❤💜🧡💛💚💙
