Tracking my macros this year has been… eye-opening.

Not perfect. Not aesthetic. Not always convenient.
But when I had it dialed in for 12 weeks?

➡️ My energy improved
➡️ My anxiety decreased
➡️ My body felt way more adaptable

Here’s the truth most people skip:
If your foundational needs aren’t met:
fuel, hydration, rest
and you keep adding stress (workouts, busy schedules, life)…

Your nervous system doesn’t rise to the occasion.
It hits the brakes. Hard.

I’ve lived this.

Trying to strength train after a back injury while under fueled.

New born mom life with a toddler (low on fuel and sleep - my daughter woke 4+ times/night until she was 18 mos 🫠)
That’s a fast track to frustration.

So if you’re seeing this, take it as your sign to do a simple fuel audit:

Are you actually giving your body what it needs to feel safe and supported?

It doesn’t have to be complicated.
Even a rough starting point can create massive shifts.

For me (~155 lbs), I started with:
• 130g protein
• 205g carbs
• 91g fat

And it changed more than just my workouts.

Because when your body is fueled…
your brain works better,
your stress response softens,
and your body is finally ready to adapt instead of resist.
