🌈📚 THE SPECTRUM SERIES IS PROUD TO SUPPORT RAINBOW ROOTS! 🌈📚

We’re excited to share that our parent company, Iron Pirate LLC, is proud to sponsor Rainbow Roots: LGBTQ+ History & Arts Festival, presented by the Rose Dynasty Foundation, on October 4, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida!

This partnership is especially meaningful to The Spectrum Series, because our books celebrate the unique gifts, challenges, accomplishments, and experiences of children on the autism spectrum—and remind every child and family that their story matters. 💙📖

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: our differences don’t diminish our stories—they make them richer.

That’s why we’re proud to support Rainbow Roots.

🌳 Our Roots Run Deep.

Rainbow Roots creates space to honor LGBTQ+ history, arts, creativity, resilience, and community while celebrating the people and stories that have helped shape generations.

For us, being a sponsor is about more than putting a name on an event.

It’s about community.
It’s about representation.
It’s about creating space for people to tell their stories in their own voices.

And it’s about helping the next generation grow up knowing that there is a place for them in the story.

We’re proud to stand alongside Iron Pirate LLC and our partners at the Rose Dynasty Foundation in celebrating the incredible diversity of the human experience.

🌈 We celebrate your history.
🎨 We celebrate your creativity.
📚 We celebrate your stories.
💙 We celebrate what makes each of us uniquely who we are.

Because when we honor where we’ve come from, we help build a more inclusive future for everyone.

Join us for Rainbow Roots 2026!

💚 Circle Saturdays | Family Matters 💚

❤️ Caring for a neurodivergent child is rewarding—but it can also be exhausting. If you're feeling overwhelmed, you're not alone. Caring for yourself isn't selfish; it helps you continue caring for the people you love.

Here are 5 reminders for families:

1️⃣ Accept That It's Okay to Be Tired
Caregiver fatigue is real. Acknowledging your feelings is the first step toward preventing burnout.

2️⃣ Ask for Help
Whether it's family, friends, respite care, or support groups, you don't have to carry everything by yourself.

3️⃣ Take Small Breaks
Even 10–15 minutes to read, walk, listen to music, or simply breathe can help you recharge.

4️⃣ Celebrate the Small Wins
Not every victory is a major milestone. Progress comes in many forms, and every achievement deserves recognition.

5️⃣ Give Yourself Grace
Some days will be harder than others. You are doing the best you can, and that is enough.

💚 Remember: You can't pour from an empty cup. Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your family.

💬 What's one thing that helps you recharge as a caregiver? Share your ideas—you might help another family.

🌈 5 Ways to Celebrate Disability Pride Month ♿

Disability Pride Month is about celebrating disability as a natural part of the human experience while advocating for a more accessible and inclusive world. Here are five meaningful ways to celebrate this July:

🤝 1. Connect With the Disability Community
Spend time with people with disabilities at school, work, community events, or online. Listen to their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Representation begins with respect and genuine connection.

📚 2. Learn Disability History
Discover the history of the disability rights movement, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Read books, watch documentaries, and follow disabled creators to better understand disability culture and advocacy.

📢 3. Advocate for Inclusion
Speak up for disability rights. Contact your elected officials, support disability-led organizations, challenge ableist language, and help create communities where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive.

💙 4. Teach the Next Generation
Read inclusive books, encourage empathy, celebrate differences, and have age-appropriate conversations about disability. Teaching acceptance early helps build a kinder future.

🌟 5. Celebrate Every Voice
Disability Pride Month reminds us that every person deserves dignity, accessibility, and belonging. Celebrate the achievements, talents, and contributions of people with disabilities—not just this month, but every day.

Together, we can build a world where everyone belongs.

🌈 The History of Disability Pride Month

Every July, we celebrate Disability Pride Month—a time to honor the history, achievements, and contributions of people with disabilities while continuing the fight for equality and accessibility. Here's how it began:

📜 1. It Honors a Historic Milestone
Disability Pride Month is observed each July to commemorate the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 1990. The ADA is a landmark civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in employment, education, transportation, public accommodations, and more.

🎉 2. The First Disability Pride Celebration
The first Disability Pride Day took place in Boston in 1990, followed by one of the first Disability Pride Parades in Chicago in 2004. Since then, communities across the country have celebrated disability identity, culture, and advocacy every July.

♿ 3. It's About Pride, Not Perfection
Disability Pride Month encourages people with disabilities to embrace who they are and recognize that disability is a natural part of the human experience—not something to hide or be ashamed of.

💙 4. We Celebrate Progress—and Keep Moving Forward
While important strides have been made, barriers still exist. Disability Pride Month reminds us to continue advocating for accessibility, representation, inclusion, and equal opportunities so everyone can thrive.

🌟 This July, let's celebrate every story, every achievement, and every voice that makes our communities stronger.

Happy Disability Pride Month! Together, we can help create a world where everyone belongs.
