Hi everyone!
Sorry for the delay in posts. I wanted to update all of you.
Feb 26th I underwent a procedure called makoplasty. This is bone resurfacing in the knee with the installion of metal and plastic. I was also given a brand new ACL! It has been only 1 week and I am over 110 degrees in motion!!! I have stuck to a strict clean diet keeping me at 134 lbs. I highly recommend this procedure for those of you with osteoarthritis of the knee!!!!!! Mine was a tad more involved with the ACL

Water retention can be due to high sodium intake!!
Watch your food!!
Stay away from processed foods! Stick to fresh veggies, brown rice, fish, chicken, steak

Deli meats are high in sodium! Keep this in mind!

Interesting topic today on the today show. "Emotional eating".
I see this constantly with clients!!! The guest was a psychologist that had gained 100 lbs and lost it.
Her book focuses on what triggers emotional eating. She suggesting the FLAB test. Ask yourself these questions if you think you are hungry
F- am I eating because I'm frustrated?
L- is eating filling the "loneliness"
A- am I eating cause I'm angry
B- is this snack cause I'm bored?

Really ask yourself this when your about to indulge in that snack at night.

5 things I have learned in 2012
1. You can be beautiful when you are pregnant
2. You don't have to get on stage, over train and prove your in shape to a panel of people who you don't even know
3.) make time for yourself even if you are a mom. If you make time for you, you will be an even better mom
4.) you can get your body back after a baby
5.) looks fade, take care of you, your family, and spend time helping other people being the best they can be.

Protein pancake for breakfast!
1 packet of oatmeal
1/2 cup egg whites
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
Blend and make a pancake!
Top off with a tiny bit of sugar free syrup
