Thursday, August 27, 2026: Moonrise is at 7:26 p.m. EDT
Friday, August 28, 2026: Moonrise is at 7:51 p.m. EDT
The partial lunar eclipse peaks late Thursday night into early Friday morning, safely observable with the naked eye right from the Outer Banks beaches.

Since opening in 2019, Outer Banks Salt Cave has been happily serving the community with a mission to educate, empower, and encourage people to make self-care and wellness part of their lives.

Founded by Phyllis K Miller and Selina Martin, the Salt Cave introduced the Outer Banks to halotherapy and a variety of complementary wellness services designed to help people relax, recharge, and restore.
