HHS's strategic plan for autism just dropped. The plan was drafted by a committee advising the RFK Jr. about federal spending allotted for autism across the government. Earlier this year, RFK Jr. fired the public committee members, replacing them with political appointees who align with his views. The new plan prioritizes a biomedical framework that members' own clinics and training programs use, meaning they themselves will profit.

Though these changes were not by choice, we want to wish Drs. Kelly Poe and Andrea Wurster well on the next steps in their careers - we understand NIMHD staff welcome your leadership. We wish Drs. Dan Rotrosen and Chuck Hackett well in their retirement.
