As a cosmetologist & hair loss practitioner, I have stopped using all “professional” products and started my own holistic hair care line. Silicones clog pores, preventing real nutrients from absorbing into your hair follicles, which your hair & scalp need to grow strong and healthy. It’s disappointing to see every product at these beauty supply stores containing synthetic detergents, silicones, and “fragrance,” which itself contains over 60 ingredients that they only have to disclose as “fragrance”. They can cause scalp irritation and dry out the hair along with thinner strands over time that are more prone to brittleness & breakage. I feel like I’ve been lied to after 19 years in the industry, and I’m changing that✨
