Even after all this rain, flooding and freezing temperatures we still managed to harvest a beautiful assortment of greens for tomorrow's farmer's market. Please come out and support us and all our local farmers and vendors. The market starts at 10 and we recommend getting there early for the best selection.

Thanks to all of you who came out to support the farmers market! It was a bit chilly out there today. Markets are at a slower pace this time of year but was nice to have more time talking with our customers and especially fellow farmers ☺️. We all appreciate your support so much!! Hope you will enjoy some cozy time with friends, family and sharing local foods this holiday season. We make it better together! 💚

It was a big day today for us. After filling our usual orders for the co-op, eureka natural foods and several local restaurants we took on an order for the Harvest Hub! 125 containers of arugula to be delivered to school kids and community programs serving youth in need. That's a lot of picking and packing for our little farm. We feel so thankful to the Hub for including us and blessed to bring our best to the community!

Hello y'all..I guess it's about time for my annual post! So far, so good, this winter.. I know it's not over yet but we have been enjoying this stretch of beautiful weather, and making good use of it. The warm temps have prolonged our crops in the field, while the greenhouse production has been good. We have a nice combo of hearty winter greens and some tender babies😋. I hope you will come see us at tomorrow's farmers market on the plaza in Arcata 10 to 2.. thanks and much love!

It's Spring!! Even on this grey morning the colors are popping out, so I thought I'd share some pretty pics with you all.

Do you ever wonder why baby leaf salads are called spring mix even when you can grow them in the Fall? I like to think it's because fresh salad makes you feel good and puts a little spring in your step. Maybe it's like a fresh spring flowing that replenishes your body and soul. Or, is it simply symbolic? To feel renewed again for another season. Whatever the meaning is for you, not only do we have spring mix but our mellow and spicy mixes are also available all year! You can find us at the NCGA farmers market on Saturday in Arcata or at our farm today and every Sunday.
