What are the masks you wear?
The masks we put on every day, most of the time unconsciously as a means of protecting our precious inner gold, don't have to define you.
They may look nice on the outside, but underneath they're covering up fragile parts we're too scared to share with the world.
Masks, like anger, protect what we care about deeply...
..the heart stories that we might be too afraid to share with the world.
But those heart stories are the joy, the love, the Eros energy within us.
And that pleasure comes from the same passion energy as anger.
What if anger didn't have to be 🤬, but instead could also involve bliss?
We cover the enjoyable sensations up with masks rather than noticing them when tensions mount inside.
But they're there.
The pleasure with the rage.
This is Sacred Rage.
Not crashing out or cathartic releases.
Instead, a slow build, noticing all of what's happening when we experience the pressure of anger.
Rather than putting on a mask, or swallowing the anger, we notice what the mask is protecting, and find the golden thread of the heart present within it.
This is just one of the things we'll be exploring this Saturday at the Summer Fire Solstice Rhythms Retreat.
