Through NimbleRx, you may receive text messages from Volunteer Pharmacy regarding your prescriptions, including updates and important pharmacy communications.

💳 New this week: We’ve also begun rolling out online checkout within Nimble, enabling patients to securely pay for prescriptions directly from their phones. We aim to have this feature available to all patients by next week.

At Volunteer Pharmacy, we prepare medications specifically tailored for your pet’s needs, including customized flavors, strengths, dosage forms, and topical treatments when appropriate.
For certain very small-volume topical doses, we may use the Topi-CLICK Micro® dosing pen.

Over the next several weeks, Volunteer Pharmacy will begin transitioning our patient text communications from Textline to NimbleRx.
NimbleRx is a secure prescription-management platform designed specifically for pharmacies. It will allow us to continue communicating with you by text while also offering a simpler way to manage many parts of your prescription order from your phone.
Through NimbleRx, you may be able to:
-Receive prescription status updates and refill reminders
-Communicate directly with our pharmacy team
-Review prescriptions that are ready
-Complete required forms or signatures
-Pay securely before pickup or shipment (rolling out soon over the next few weeks)
-Select from the pickup or shipping options available for your order
-Track the status of your prescription in one convenient place

Nimble's messages will be sent from a 5-digit short code, so you may wish to save that number in your contacts as “Volunteer Pharmacy – NimbleRx.”
The message will clearly identify Volunteer Pharmacy and may include a secure link to review or complete your prescription order. NimbleRx also offers an optional mobile app.

You will still be able to call us when you need personal assistance, have questions about your medication, or simply prefer to speak with a member of our team. NimbleRx is intended to make routine prescription communication and checkout easier, not replace the personal service our patients have trusted for more than 15 years.
