To wrap up Allergy and Asthma Awareness Month, we thought we’d give a little bit of a shoutout to one of our favorite tools in asthma diagnosis and management…the PFT. 🤍🤩
So what in the world is a pulmonary function test???? Basically, it’s a really useful tool to assess lung function and monitor changes in the function over time. The process feels a little bit silly, but this tool can give us SO much information about what’s going on in your lungs. This test can help diagnose and monitor asthma, COPD, and other pulmonary conditions. So here is what to expect when you get a PFT 🫶🏼🫁
