Some runs just remind you of how big and special the running community really is.

Today, I got to celebrate Global Running Day with alongside runners from all over the country, united by one simple thing: a love for putting one foot in front of the other.

The friendships, the stories, the miles, the finish lines, the confidence, the growth running gives us so much more than just fitness.

Feeling incredibly grateful for every mile that’s led me here and with people that absolutely get it!

Big goals aren’t built in one workout, they’re built through the small things you do consistently.

Between running, HIIT workouts, early mornings, and long days, I’ve learned that how you recover matters just as much as how you train.

One habit we are focusing on lately? Staying on top of our hydration and electrolytes, especially during summer training.

Loved teaming up with fellow runner and sweater crew member to share the same message in two different languages because no matter where you’re from we are all in this together and taking care of your body is part of the process.

May running recap : with my coach

This month looked a lot different than marathon season.

After recovering from my spring marathon, May was all about rebuilding the foundation. The goal right now isn’t to be at peak fitness it’s to create the aerobic engine, durability, and leg turnover that will support the harder training ahead.

We’re increasing volume this cycle and chasing a faster marathon this fall, which means the work happening now matters more than ever.

The base phase isn’t always the most exciting, but it’s where future PRs are built.

A reminder that nobody starts as the person they eventually become.
Not the marathoner.
Not the coach.
Not the runner chasing big goals.
They all started as someone who simply decided to try.
The version of me that qualified for Boston started with a single mile.
The version of me that helps others fuel their bodies first had to learn how to fuel my own.
Consistency doesn’t look glamorous while you’re living it.
But one day you’ll look back and realize those ordinary days changed everything!

Keep showing up!

Things that immediately fix my mood:

long runs before the world wakes up
fresh Brooks on pavement
farmer’s market flowers + sourdough
electrolytes after a sweaty run
wandering the grocery store like it’s therapy
a high carb/protein meal that hits
sauna + cold plunge for recovery

Therapy but make it endurance sports.
