Hello everyone!!! Just wanted to say it is an honor to take on this adventure from Lillian.
Her wisdom, training and support are without measure! We are very grateful for everything she is doing to make this a smooth transition for us. We ask for your patience as we are getting started. Thank you!!!

Good afternoon! Fragrant Blossom Soaps has been purchased by a a team of friends: Shelley Hale and Laura Kays. I am handing the page over to them this evening.

They have been fully trained in my soap process and they have my recipe. You will get the same amazing quality, especially since I trained them.

They are the new faces of Fragrant Blossom Soaps. I suggested they change the name, as mine is registered with the state and they will need to go through that. However, they will be able to write on their labels formerly Fragrant Blossom Soaps if they so wish.

Folks, it's the same great soap, the same amazing recipe. It's just that they are making it instead of me.

I'm moving to a 3 acre farm in Missouri where I will retire and prop my feet up in front of a wood burning stove and enjoy retirement!

As of today, two stores stated they will carry our soap recipe as produced by the new owners of my company:

Sunspot Natural Market
Treasure Mart South

If you are a wholesaler who has wanted to carry our soap, please know that as of 12 midnight tonight, the page changes hands and is under the control of the new owners. :).

Thank you so much for being wonderful customers! I appreciate you all and am looking forward to my retirement. God bless you all :)

I suggested the new owners choose a new name. However, I have decided if they want to keep the name they can, effective January 1. Dec 31 is the day we close out the books for Fragrant Blossom Soaps and inform the state of Indiana that we are closed. The new owners will register on their own and if they choose to keep the name I will facilitate it but seriously I hope they choose their own name. I fully support them in this adventure and want the recipe to continue on in their names!

Lillian Newman
former owner of Fragrant Blossom Soaps

Good afternoon. I am training an Indiana soapmaker with my method and recipe. She will also be receiving this page but the name of the company will be changed. She will have my recipe. I hope this helps you all! 🙂

More info as this newest development unfolds.

Well, I just re-stocked my booth at The Mix marketplace, 940 Logan St. in Noblesville with the rest of what I have in my inventory. I might venture to assume that if you if you were sad because you missed out on the oatmeal milk and honey soap. well, there’s about five bars of it in stock at the store right now. The store is stocked to the brim with soap! If you are looking for stocking stuffers or gifts for work consider a bar of soap! For 22 years we have been the name for top quality handcrafted soap in Noblesville!

Our last day in this, our final store, is 12/30. The Mix will be buying some inventory to keep in hand but not the entire booth. Hurry on in and get that shopping done! 🙂

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

At this point we are unable to accept special orders as our production is closed. The scheduled date for us to have all of our product out of the remainder of our stores is December 30. If you want to stock up it would be a good idea.

The Mix marketplace is having a tremendous sale on our candles so if you love her candles, you may want to head on down there and stock up.

I received a beautiful message from one of you about how much the candle that you purchased with your best friend meant to you. It is my understanding that the best friend has some health concerns so for those of you that pray I want to just put out a special intention for the young woman who bought a Woodstock candle at the popcorn festival, and for her best friend, who received that candle. I asked God to surround both of these young women with love, courage and peace, but most of all joy for this, we pray to the Lord thank you God amen.

We are selling our 1899 farmhouse in Sharpsville IN! It has the original Victorian kitchen that came with the property when it was built by Indiana carpenters in 1899. It also has an original bathroom mirror which is now in the hallway. Since I’ve lived here, I’ve pulled newspapers from as far back as the early 1900s wrapped around plumbing, we have done a lot of the major renovation for this house leaving cosmetic touches to the buyer. last December, our heating bill was just a little over $200 as this house has a high-efficiency heater. in the summer you can cool off in the swimming pool or use a hot tub to relax at the end of a long day. Our realtor is Toni Brock with the Wyman Group.

the soap and candle production was all done in the very large studio that is attached to the house. It was once the town’s beauty shop, and there is a separate little door leading into that part of the property.

If you or somebody that you know is looking for a house that is Victorian that has had a lot of improvements made to it, is a warm comfortable and nostalgic home, please share this post with them!

For sale This 2688 square foot single family home has 4 bedrooms and 2.0 bathrooms. It is located at 231 W Walnut St Sharpsville, Indiana.

We are closing our doors. It was a great 22 years. Make sure to stock up on soap while you can. On 12/30 all unsold product will be removed from stores with the exception of the Mix Marketplace as they have chosen to purchase some inventory from on hand.

Thank you all for the wonderful sales.

Happy holidays!
