On May 4th, I returned from the Hypnosis Conference and walked straight into one of the most challenging months I’ve had as a business owner.

In a matter of weeks, I dealt with legal matters, employee turnover that left me without my entire front desk team, hired and trained four new team members after reviewing over 40 applications, managed the front desk myself, and learned that our medical director would be retiring sooner than expected. At the same time, our family experienced some heartbreaking pet losses.

Many of my staff stepped up in a big way, and I’m incredibly grateful for them. Through it all, I tried to stay grounded—going to bed earlier, eating better, taking moments of silence when I could, and forcing myself to take a day off to catch up on the mountain of administrative work.

It hasn’t been perfect. I’ve made mistakes, and I’ve had moments where exhaustion got the best of me. But today, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

If you’ve visited Hands On Healing recently, thank you for your patience and grace as we navigate these changes. Small businesses don’t always have the resources of large corporations, but we work hard every day to serve our community well.

And finally, thank you to my husband, Joe Hunt—the real hero of this story. Thank you for keeping me laughing when I wanted to cry, for carrying the load beside me, and for being my rock through it all. ❤️

Today is the last day of school 🏫 this year looks different because I won’t be there to get them early! My office is in the middle of a reset and I find myself understanding a deeper part of myself as I rise to the challenges I am facing. Tomorrow starts summer for my boys, I am looking forward to some carefree days with them.

I haven’t had much time since my return from the hypnosis conference busy business owner life! I have been grateful for every moment of bird watching, Mother’s Day love, time with my family and my clients. I added some hours for next week to see clients!
