For so long, I thought healing meant pushing through, staying strong, and carrying everything quietly. But through wellness work, meditation, sound healing, Reiki, community spaces, and my own personal journey, I’ve learned that the body remembers what the mind tries to forget.

That’s why somatic healing feels so important right now.

So many people are exhausted emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically yet still showing up every day for everyone else. We deserve spaces where we can finally exhale, release, reconnect, and feel safe in our bodies again.

I’m deeply honored to share that I’ve been accepted into the African American Leadership Institute (AALI) Fellowship Cohort 2026.

The AALI Fellowship is a 10-month, issues-based leadership experience that supports leaders in developing civic leadership skills, navigating complex systems, building meaningful relationships, and leading with purpose in the communities where we live and work. This work aligns deeply with how I show up rooted in service, accountability, and collective responsibility.

I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to begin this journey.

Today was such a blessing. I had the opportunity to volunteer with Change1, and my heart is full. 💛

We packed gifts, sorted donations, and poured so much love into every detail. I’m truly hoping the foster kids feel the joy, the care, and the intention behind everything prepared for them.

Moments like this remind me why community matters when we show up, even in small ways, it can make a big difference. ✨
