I've never been "cookie cutter". Maybe it's my Aquarius nature. I love being unique and that makes me think of how unique you are - after all that's how we were created.

I love how homeopathy works- it's so individual.

Someone just asked me if I prescribe the same remedies all the time....my response was - I prescribe based on your story, your symptoms, your patterns, your life.

I follow your breadcrumbs and they lead me to the remedy that best fits you at this moment in time.

Always what fits you best.....no matter where you are at in your healing journey.

Homeopathy is super cool that way.

Well… this wasn’t on my clinic schedule.

Mikko and Martta had a run-in with a porcupine yesterday.

If this ever happens, here’s how I think about it from a homeopathy perspective:

*Ledum – first place I go for puncture wounds… helps calm the reaction and swelling

*Silica – supports the body in pushing out anything left behind… those quills don’t always come easily

*Arnica – for the overall trauma and soreness after

*Hypericum – when it’s really sensitive… nose, lips, paws… that sharp, nerve-type pain

*Hepar sulph – only if things start to turn… more pain, swelling, or signs of infection

Also, just sharing what I've learned… quills can move. You may feel one pop out in the future.
Face, mouth, eyes… If there are a lot like Mikko had... if they’re deep, or in tricky areas, I wouldn’t wait… I’d get them in to a veterinarian. We took Mikko in yesterday.

Sharing a few photos so you can see what this looked like here. This had us hopping yesterday morning.

PS: This isn't the first time they have tangled with a porkie. UGGH. Airedale Terriers don't give up.

Where does YOUR Body compensate? Tell me....

I saw this tree on a walk and stopped for a minute.

Look at how it bent itself… just to reach the sun.
The body does this too.
It will twist, tighten, adapt…
whatever it needs to do to keep you going.

But when something gets pushed down…
like anger or stress…
it doesn’t just go away.
It gets redirected.

I see this a lot with things like back pain.
There’s no injury… but the body is holding something.
Not because it’s broken…
but because it’s trying to protect.
Your body is always working for you.

Sometimes we just have to listen a little closer.

Trouble sleeping? 😲
