Peptide prices are about to drop AGAIN!!!

I am ALL about affordable and keeping costs down ….. almost a decade really into this goal.

I knew we were close to a GLP price drop as more insurance plans begin to cover access now. HOWEVER still at crazy prices for many.

I’ve been using these in patients for over 5 years. WAY before the craze…. And it’s now a reality. ❤️

Are GLPs or peptides natural?

Yes and No.

It’s a chain of amino acids - basic building blocks of proteins but it’s made in a lab.

All labs equal? No. Order online without your research and it’s likely from China and not purified or up to standards and has incredible risk.

Have any medical support other than getting it shipped? This means additional risk. Risk of hospitalization, hair falling out, skin sagging due to lack of protein and actual coaching. Ick.

You can do peptides the wrong way —- or do them the RIGHT way.

What about kids?

We love our Youth Members at Thrive Direct! We have over 80!

Being able to text your medical provider your questions and get a same day -- sometimes same hour -- response is a pretty neat perk.

Access still to same day and next day urgent appointment needs. Came in handy for a family or two this week along with another 4-5 well child checks.

Open Sundays for families that need more flexibility!

WARNING! Kids absolutely LOVE coming to see us and play in a kid-centric exam room and really have a hard time leaving! I designed it that way. SORRY!!!! come early or stay late!
Adult visits with young kids get the same benefit! As a Mom I planned this room for you all. Plus I get to offload all our older toys. lol

I wanted to post about Kratom.

It’s been in the news lately and I think public and parent awareness is needed.

Because it’s over the counter.

It’s easy to access and it’s easy to order online. And patients think it’s safe.

As a pain specialist— I’ve known about its dangers for almost 14 years. First introduced to it at UW Hospital.

A patient that was on high doses due to physical and psychological pain that couldn’t stop because of withdrawl. I was able to help them as an outpatient with suboxone - a medication meant for opioid withdrawal because Kratom acts on the same receptors as pain pills. I’ve helped several patients since and warn others about it. Even at low doses there are issues.

It’s banned in other countries.
It’s legal in the USA but shouldn’t be.
It’s not regulated.

It’s plant based but can be dangerous. Patients do not know because it’s “natural”

Please warn your kids and friends with pain, depression or anxiety
