Try this Savory Oats for lymph + glow ✨

Not just “healthy”… this is functional.

🥣 Savory Oats (Lymph + Glow Batch)

Simmer first:

Simmer ~20 minutes, then remove ginger + jujube

Add:
• ½ cup cooked coix seed (yi yi ren)
• 1½ cups rolled oats
• 4 tbsp quinoa
• 2 tbsp chia seeds
• Pinch of salt

Why this bowl works ↓

Coix seed → drains damp + reduces puffiness
Ginger → activates digestion + fluid movement
Jujube + bone broth → rebuild + protect fluids
Black sesame → supports skin, hair, and overall vitality
Chia + oats → keep things hydrated and grounded

Microneedling—but make it intentional.

This treatment isn’t just about creating collagen on the surface. It’s about supporting the skin from within.

By combining microneedling with body acupuncture, we’re not only improving texture, tone, and fine lines—we’re also:
• supporting circulation
• reducing inflammation
• helping nutrients reach the skin more effectively
• addressing the internal patterns behind what shows up on your face

Because your skin reflects more than what you put on it.

This is why results feel different at Ritual House—more balanced, more supported, and longer lasting.

Not just skin deep 🤍

If you’ve been feeling more irritable, bloated, or tense lately…
it’s not random.

In Chinese medicine, spring is associated with the Liver—
the system responsible for keeping things moving smoothly in the body.

Your energy, your digestion, even your emotional state
are all connected to this sense of flow.

After a slower, more inward winter,
your body is naturally trying to shift outward again.

But if things have been a little stuck—
from stress, diet, or just the pace of life—
that movement can feel uncomfortable.

That’s when you might notice:
tension in your jaw or neck
bloating or digestive changes
feeling more reactive or on edge

Not because something is wrong—
but because your body is trying to move.

This is something I see often in clinic this time of year.

Through acupuncture, facial work, and supportive treatments,
we help restore that natural flow—gently, and in a way that works with your body.

If this feels familiar,
acupuncture + facial work can help bring things back into flow.

Coffee first thing in the morning? Your hormones disagree.

Your body naturally releases cortisol in the morning—this is what helps you wake up and feel alert.

From a TCM perspective, this is also when your Stomach + Spleen Qi are just beginning their work—warming up digestion and preparing to receive nourishment.

When you drink coffee on an empty stomach, you’re:
• amplifying that cortisol spike
• stimulating the system before it’s nourished
• disrupting the natural digestive rhythm

Over time, this can look like:
• feeling wired, then crashing
• anxiety or jitteriness
• weakened digestion + bloating
• more internal heat → dryness, inflammation, skin imbalance

In TCM, the morning isn’t about stimulation—it’s about building energy.

A small, grounding meal (especially warm + easy to digest) helps anchor that cortisol response and support your digestive
Qi so energy can rise steadily.

You don’t have to give up coffee.
Just let your body receive something first 🙏

jaw tension isn’t just about the jaw

it can reflect how the body has learned to hold—stress, pressure, constant activation

this work creates space for that to shiftgently supporting flow, softening tension, and bringing the system back toward balance

nothing forced, nothing rushedjust working with your body

for those looking for a more supportive approach 🙏✨

POV: my kind of therapy ✨

Acupuncture to regulate the nervous system.
Herbal medicine to nourish from the inside out.
Facial rejuvenation to support natural beauty and healthy aging.
Microneedling to stimulate collagen and restore glow.

True beauty treatments work deeper than the surface. They support circulation, lymph flow, hormones, digestion, and the nervous system — because when the body is in balance, it shows in the face.

This is my kind of therapy.

From the Apothecary 🌹

Rose bud (Mei Gua Hua) is a beautiful herb used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to help move Liver Qi and support healthy circulation.

When Qi becomes constrained — often from emotional stress, overwork, or hormonal shifts — symptoms like menstrual discomfort, breast tenderness, or pelvic stagnation may arise.
Rose bud is often included in formulas to gently promote the smooth flow of Qi and Blood, helping support menstrual balance.

Herbal medicine in TCM is always prescribed based on an individual’s pattern, so formulas are carefully tailored to each person.

I recently wrote a blog exploring how Traditional Chinese Medicine understands endometriosis and pelvic stagnation — link in bio if you’d like to read more 📖
