SDLAX Nutrition Program Smart Eats teaches children to learn that healthy food tastes good and is fun to prepare!

Smart Eats is a program of the nutrition office at the La Crosse School District in La Crosse, Wis. It is a long-term initiative to incorporate more fresh, locally grown produce into school nutrition programs, teach children that healthy food tastes good and is fun to prepare and help students develop healthy eating habits for life.

Great schedule: Monday–Friday hours with paid holidays; you work when the kids are attending school (aka the perfect excuse to avoid morning rush hour)!

Rewarding work: Serve healthy, delicious meals that fuel our students to learn and grow (and maybe even get a few 'thank you's from the kiddos)!

Supportive environment: Work in a fun, energetic team atmosphere right in your neighborhood (no commute, yes please)!

What you’ll do: Help prepare and serve nutritious meals to students, assist with keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly (aka the ultimate multitasking challenge), and provide excellent, friendly customer service at the serving line or register (with a side of sass, optional but highly encouraged).
