We’ve officially wrapped up our post‑event debriefs for both the Nurse Networking Summit and Nursing Research on the Green 2026...and we’re already moving full speed into planning for next year.🎉💚

Our goal is to announce the 2027 back-to-back event date this summer, along with more details about themes, speakers, and opportunities to get involved.
We’re currently exploring a potential mid‑April 2027 date, so stay tuned as plans continue to take shape.

What an incredible day it was at Nursing Research on the Green. From our dedicated planning team to the staff, students, presenters, and community members who poured their energy into this event... THANK YOU. Your commitment to advancing nursing scholarship is what makes this gathering so special.

A highlight of the day was celebrating our Dahlberg Scholar, (Dan Weberg PhD, MHI, RN, FAAN) whose presentation captured the spirit of excellence this event was built on. Our keynote speaker and breakout sessions were nothing short of inspiring, sparking conversations and ideas that will carry forward long after the posters come down.

We’re already looking ahead to next year. Keep an eye on our page and NROTG.org as planning begins soon. We can’t wait to welcome you back.

Nursing teaches us to expect the unexpected… but even we didn’t expect this on the morning of the event.
💻➡️💥
Our main recording/streaming laptop broke shortly before we started, which meant our virtual attendees experienced some challenges as we switched devices. We issued refunds for all virtual tickets (to make things right), and once we regrouped, we were able to stream several of the sessions...though the keynote session may have cut in and out for our virtual attendees. If you were a virtual attendee, please check your email for options to view the recorded links and steps to complete the evaluation for contact hours.

What we did capture was the spirit of nursing: adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to pivot under pressure. Thank you to everyone who showed us grace as we navigated a very real-time problem-solving moment.

Less than two weeks to go... and I've been reflecting on why these events matter.

As we get closer to Nursing Research on the Green and the Nurse Networking Summit, I'm reminded how powerful it is when people come together to learn, share ideas, and support the nursing profession. While these events center nursing scholarship, they're strengthened by the presence of anyone who partners with, supports, or interacts with nurses. Those broader perspectives enrich the conversations in meaningful ways.

These gatherings aren't just dates on a calendar... they're opportunities to invest in our students, our colleagues, and the future of nursing. If you've been considering attending, I'd love to see more voices and champions join us. Your presence truly shapes the dialogue.
