We used Obagi filler to add volume while keeping her lips soft, feminine, and balanced with her natural features. I focused on creating more definition through the Cupid’s bow, enhancing the upper lip, and giving the lower lip that smooth, beautiful fullness without making the lips look overdone.

After dissolving her previous lip filler due to migration, we finally had a fresh canvas to work with. For this appointment, we used 1.2 mL of Obagi filler to rebuild her lips with intention, focusing on a more defined Cupid’s bow, beautiful height, balanced volume, and a clean, feminine shape.

Probably one of my favorite things to hear from a patient, especially when I’m working with virgin lips. There’s something so special about having a fresh canvas and being trusted to create a shape that complements her features.

Her one request? A more defined Cupid’s bow.

We used 1.2 mL of Obagi® MagIQ™, incorporating Russian lip techniques to create more vertical height, definition through the Cupid’s bow, and a beautifully structured shape.

This is why I love what I do. It’s not just about adding volume. It’s about looking at the lips in front of me, understanding their anatomy, and creating something that still feels like her, just more defined.

Bridal lip transformation in progress 💍🤍

Two weeks ago, we dissolved her previous filler migration and gave the lips time to heal. Now that we had a clean foundation to work with, it was time to start rebuilding.

Using only ½ syringe of Obagi MagIQ and a Russian lip technique, we focused on creating vertical height, a more defined Cupid’s bow, and cleaner lip borders while keeping the result soft and proportional to her features.

Creating beautiful lips isn’t about adding more filler. It’s about knowing when to dissolve, reset, and rebuild with intention. ✨

And with her wedding coming up, we’re taking our time to get every detail just right. 👰🏻‍♀️

1.2 mL of Obagi MagIQ in one appointment, using a Russian lip augmentation technique to create more vertical height, a defined Cupid’s bow, and that lifted, structured shape while keeping the lips balanced with her features.

These photos were taken immediately after treatment, so swelling is definitely present. Once healed, expect the lips to settle approximately 30–40% by the 2-week follow-up, leaving a softer and more natural version of what you see here.
