Since this category can be a little confusing, I want to share what being a naturopathic doctor actually means. Licensed NDs complete a four-year doctoral program at an accredited naturopathic medical school, including training in the same foundational medical sciences as conventional physicians, followed by national board exams. The road to practicing in Colorado has had its bumps, but I would choose it all over again.
That training is what allows me to practice the way I do. Spending 90 minutes with each patient gives the doctor-patient relationship room to develop, and it gives me the time to search for the root cause of illness so the body can do what it was designed to do: heal. From hormone support, HypnoBirthing, to pelvic floor health, I am honored to make a difference in the lives of those who seek this kind of medicine. Link in bio!
