I found a sauna in New Windsor, NY with a cold bath in the floor of the hot room! Glory glory!

I also read a great, honest article about cold plunging with sauna in the NY Times this morning by Taffy Brodesser-Akner. I’ll link it below if I can figure out how to do that…

Last weekend was PACKED with activities at Madeline Island. I ran the half marathon Saturday
morning, winning my age group with a PR of 129:06. I led a short Wim Hof Workshop Saturday
afternoon on Joni’s beach, where I guided breathwork and then took people into Lake Superior.
The next day, we did the same thing with twelve new people. So many adventurous and curious
people on such a small Island!
I couldn’t have done this alone. Thanks a million to for inviting
FoxFire to be an official sponsor of the event. And an even bigger thanks to
for providing the sauna and promoting my activities. A final thanks to all the wonderful
residents and visitors to Madeline Island last weekend. What a gem! I think I’ll plan a FoxFire
retreat in April 2027….keep your eyes open for that!
