Our hearts are so full after kicking off the return of the monthly intergenerational program with our 2nd Grade Friends! 🐦 🥜 Today, we welcomed the first of two wonderful classes from the La Porte City Elementary to our community. We worked side by side with the kiddos to make pinecone bird feeders covered in peanut butter! Thank you to the students and teachers for bringing so much energy and joy into our home today. We are already counting down the days until next month's visit!

We had the pleasure of having Dr. Cutler, our medical director, and the family of Lee B. with us at today's event. These individuals were crucial in assisting our facility in securing our very own bladder scanner.

A bladder scanner is a small and painless machine. It uses sound waves to check how much urine is in a person's bladder. This will help us prevent painful infections, keep our community comfortable and stop unnecessary trips to the hospital!

This machine represents our promise to use the best tools available to care for you like family. ❤️
