As a WRF Volunteer Trainer, I had the great pleasure of leading an in-person workshop at a women’s retreat in beautiful Lake Arrowhead. I began with a brief explanation of what reflexology is and how it works, including an overview of the reflexology body maps on the feet, hands, and outer ears. I also shared information about the World Reflexology Foundation and the purpose behind our work.
I then introduced a few gentle relaxation techniques, including holding Shen Men and Zero Point on the ears. From there, I guided participants through a demonstration of self-help reflexology techniques they can use to relieve stress and ease discomfort in their own lower back.
We even held Zero Point to help with car sickness.
It was a fun and rewarding afternoon. I truly enjoyed supporting everyone, and as always, I love witnessing the “magic” of reflexology unfold.
