Job description:
Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT) – Private Clinic (Contract Job)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist to work in a specialized private women’s health and reproductive medicine clinic in Omaha, NE.
This position will work within a hormone laboratory performing diagnostic laboratory testing, processing blood specimens, operating laboratory analyzers, performing quality control, accurately reporting patient results, and assisting with routine laboratory equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
Perform reproductive hormone and other laboratory testing
Centrifuge, separate, process, and properly store blood specimens
Operate laboratory analyzers and perform required quality-control procedures
Accurately document and report patient results
Maintain QC, maintenance, and equipment records
Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment
Perform venipuncture when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
Qualifications:
MLS/MT or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent preferred/required based on assignment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate results
Ability to work independently in a smaller private-clinic laboratory environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
