🐾 STILL LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾

Sweet Thumper spent the day at American Lake and, honestly, this boy is pure joy. His favorite thing in the world right now? FETCH. 🎾

He’ll happily dive face-first into the water for his ball, and when it floats out too far, he uses his fuzzy little paw to push it back toward shore. Watching him problem-solve is the cutest thing ever. 🥹

Today, he had an encounter with a much larger off-leash dog. The other pup wanted to play, but Thumper stayed calm, showed zero aggression, and simply decided fetch was way more important.

This boy is smart, goofy, and full of life. If you don’t throw the ball fast enough, he’ll “talk” to you and let you know you’re slacking. 😂 He listens wonderfully off leash and absolutely soaks up affection from everyone he meets. Today he even met a new friend who may be interested in adopting him, and he greeted them with all the love.

Thumper deserves a family that will throw the ball, laugh at his silly little conversations, and love him as deeply as he loves life.

My goal is to post a VIDEO a day of Thumpers Adoption Journey!

Today is June 19th, Thumper is still available for his next forever home! Today he went for a car ride and absolutely loved it. He met the girls at Black Diamond Coffee Company and enjoyed his first pup cup!! He had a sleep over last night with Fine Line & Floral tattoo artist Grants Pass, Southern Oregon and snuggled all night long either no issues! He enjoyed his belly rubs while sun bathing and and had a boost of energy once he saw our son play soccer! He definitely loves soccer balls!

What will he be up to tomorrow….stay tuned…

🚨 EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED 🚨

Some of you may remember Thumper.

Seven years ago, we met him and his people while they were homeless and begging for food. Years later, they entrusted us with their baby, who became our son, Sutter.

Fast forward to today… after a series of tragic events, Thumper ended up in doggie jail and on the euthanasia list for biting a police officer during a chaotic arrest.

Alyssa went full detective mode, tracked him down in Portland, and we brought him home.

And you guys… he remembered us. 🥹

He crawled into our laps, licked our faces, walked right into his harness, took treats gently, and has been nothing but sweet. He laid in the grass with us, rolled over for belly rubs, and slept with his head on our necks.

🐾 Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix

Emergency Foster or Forever Home Needed

Hi friends, it’s Gina & Alyssa, and we need your help, advice, referrals, and everything in between.

Seven years ago, we met a man named Robert and his dog, Thumper, standing on the side of the road begging for food. Alyssa bought Thumper a McDonald’s burger, and over time we became close with Robert, helping where we could.

A few years later, Robert and his partner Robi came to us with an unimaginable request. They were pregnant and desperately wanted this baby to have a chance at a better life. They asked us to help find a family so their child wouldn’t enter the system.

That baby became our son, Sutter.

Fast forward seven years…

Robi was arrested in Portland and is awaiting sentencing. During the chaos, Thumper bit a police officer while trying to escape and was placed on the euthanasia list.

When Sutter’s birth grandmother contacted us with the news, Alyssa went into detective mode, tracked him down, and we drove to Portland to bring him home.

And you know what?

He remembered us.

He crawled into our laps.
He licked our faces.
He walked right into his harness.
He gently took cheese from our hands.
He shakes, sits, and sits up for treats.
He allows belly rubs, ear rubs, toe touches, and cuddles.
He laid in the grass with us and rested his head on our necks.

🐾 Pulls on leash, likely anxiety and lack of training
🐾 Sweet, affectionate, gentle and eager to connect
🐾 Has spent years sleeping in a tent with his people

WE NEED HELP

Unfortunately, we have five dogs and three cats at home, and we simply cannot safely assess him or provide the environment he deserves right now.

We are urgently searching for:

🏡 A rescue organization

🏡 Breed-specific rescue contacts
🏡 Anyone willing to give this sweet old soul a second chance

This boy has already survived homelessness, loss, doggie jail, and being placed on the euthanasia list.

He deserves a soft bed, kindness, and someone to tell him:

“You don’t have to survive anymore, buddy. You’re home.”

This sweet babe came to me with one request… panthers and flowers. She trusted me to run with the design, and when I showed her a piece I had sketched up awhile back, it was an instant YES.

We had to take this project slow and steady thanks to some swelling, but today we finally wrapped it up! Everything you see is beautifully healed except for that large flower up top.

I’m so grateful when clients trust me enough to let me play with bolder lines, movement, and those little artistic touches that make a piece feel alive. I am absolutely obsessed with how this one came together. The boldness, the flow, the attitude… she’s everything.

And honestly? I wouldn’t be mad if more of these landed in my chair.

Some tattoos are beautiful because of the story.

This piece is both.

My client made the incredibly brave decision to leave an abusive relationship. The tattoo that once represented that chapter of her life was surgically removed, leaving behind a scar that served as a daily reminder of a story she no longer wanted defining her future.

Together, we created something

About 75% of this tattoo is fully healed, with the remaining 25% completed during today’s session. You can already see how beautifully the blossoms and butterflies soften the scar and transform the space into something full of life, growth, and possibility.

For me, sessions like this are deeply meaningful.

As a survivor of spousal abuse myself, I understand how powerful it can be to reclaim your body, your identity, and your sense of self. There is something incredibly healing about choosing what comes next and creating something beautiful where pain once lived.

This tattoo isn’t about hiding a scar.

It’s about honoring survival, celebrating freedom, and creating a new chapter.

10.5 hours, one epic concept, and several murder mystery documentaries later...

This piece has been such a vibe from start to finish. I absolutely loved bringing this concept to life, diving into all the conversations, and getting way too invested in solving crimes that definitely weren’t mine. 😂

The best part? We’re not done yet. I can’t wait to continue into the lower sleeve and see this entire project come together.
