What if I told you the secret to a more youthful face isn’t always treating the wrinkles… but restoring the SUPPORT behind them? 👏🏼

As we age, we lose fat, collagen, and structural support in the lateral face, particularly around the temples and preauricular area (the area directly in front of the ears). As these deeper tissues lose volume and support, our retaining ligaments and overlying skin can become more visibly affected by gravity, contributing to sagging, creasing, and deeper smile lines.

Under-eye filler is one of those treatments I rarely recommend… unless there is a TRUE deficiency. 👀💉

This before & after is a little deceiving because the “before” photo is actually from 2022, so lighting, makeup, and time aren’t perfectly matched—but the improvement in the under-eye hollow is still so noticeable.

The under-eye area is delicate, and filler is not the answer for every dark circle, bag, or shadow. In the wrong candidate, adding filler can actually make the area look heavier or more puffy. But when someone has a true volume deficiency and the anatomy is appropriate, a small, carefully placed amount can soften the hollow and create a smoother transition from the lower eyelid into the cheek.

My philosophy will always be: just because we CAN put filler somewhere doesn’t mean we SHOULD. The goal isn’t to fill every line or hollow—it’s to treat the right patient, in the right area, with the right amount. 🤍

Girl to girl… your injector can do a lot, but she can’t do your skincare for you. 🔨

Beautiful, natural results aren’t about chasing every line, freezing every expression, or counting how many syringes you’ve had. They’re about playing the long game.
