Meet Louis: Artist Q&A
How long have you been tattooing?
I’ve been tattooing for 10 years.
What got you interested in becoming a tattoo artist?
Art has always been a huge part of my life. Becoming a tattoo artist wasn’t something I necessarily planned—it was simply the path life led me down, and I’ve been grateful for the journey ever since.
What was your first tattoo—both the one you received and the first one you tattooed?
The first tattoo I received was “Truly Blessed” on the outside of my forearm. The first tattoo I ever did was a line of five-pointed stars running down a client’s side, from their ribs to their hip.
What do you enjoy most about being a tattoo artist?
I love being creative every day and getting the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life.
What’s something most clients would be surprised to learn about you?
I enjoy building model airplanes in my spare time.
What are your hobbies outside of tattooing?
When I’m not tattooing, I spend time welding and working with my hands on various projects.

Why should someone book with you?
I’ve always been told that getting tattooed by me is more than just an appointment—it’s an experience. I like to keep things fun, joke around, and create a relaxed atmosphere while still giving every tattoo 110% of my effort. My goal is to make sure you leave with the best tattoo I can possibly create for you.
What type of client is your ideal client?
Someone who trusts the process and gives me the creative freedom to showcase my artistic abilities and bring their idea to life.
What can clients expect when they sit in your chair?
A comfortable, welcoming environment with snacks, drinks, plenty of conversation, and an overall great experience from start to finish.
What’s your goal as an artist over the next few years?
My goal is to continue growing my independence as an artist, constantly improve my craft, and further develop a style that is uniquely my own. Every tattoo is an opportunity to learn, evolve, and push my artistry to the next level.
