PWAC has proudly been serving the residents of the Colonial School District and surrounding areas for 50 years. We are a year-round competitive swim team offering high-quality coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. We believe every child can achieve lifelong success through the lessons learned in youth sports. Our goal is to provide every member an opportunity to improve th

eir swimming skills and achieve success at their level of ability, from novice to national qualifier, within a safe, healthy, and positive environment for athletes.

Today marks the first official day of practice for the 2026–2027 PWAC season! 💙
A big WELCOME BACK to all of our returning swimmers and families, and an extra-special WELCOME to our new swimmers and families joining the PWAC family for the first time!

Here’s to a season filled with fun, new friendships, big goals, fast swims and plenty of progress along the way. 💪

Every practice is an opportunity to learn something new, work a little harder, build confidence, and get better than you were the day before. And everyday is a day to be 💙🩵

On Monday night, while representing his summer team, the PSC Gators, Erik earned the Fran Crippen Award at Summer Distance Champs—a tremendous accomplishment and a well-deserved honor.

The award is presented in memory of Fran Crippen, an extraordinary distance swimmer whose legacy continues to inspire generations of athletes. Receiving an award that bears Fran’s name is a special recognition of dedication, perseverance, and excellence in the sport.

For the PWAC family, this honor carries an even deeper meaning. Fran Crippen was coached by legendary coach Dick Shoulberg, whose impact on competitive swimming—and on PWAC—is immeasurable. Today, Erik trains under one of PWAC’s Head Coaches Kirsten Overcash, who was herself coached and mentored by Coach Shoulberg. That connection makes this award especially meaningful, linking the legacy of one of swimming’s greatest coaches to the next generation of PWAC athletes.

Congratulations, Erik! We are incredibly proud of you, proud of the way you represented the PSC Gators, and excited to watch all you accomplish with PWAC this season. 💙

Our PWAC Advanced swimmers don’t just eat...they fuel. 🏊 🥞🥓🧇

Between early mornings and doubles, these athletes burn a crazy number of calories, so a team breakfast was definitely earned!

Great food, lots of laughs, and just enough downtime before it’s back to the pool.

Sunday night’s PWAC banquet was such an amazing night! We celebrated our seniors Talia Piacitelli, Sammy Moore, Maggie Sgaramella, Gabi Abruzzo and Dhruv Shevade. We recognized and honored two amazing board members, and recognized the team for their amazing accomplishments this season. It was a beautiful way to wrap up the winter season! 💙
