We want to have a "place" where people can go to express their concerns with different areas that need to address the lack of accessibility! We also want to hear of places that go above and beyond to make their businesses accessible! Places that are accessible that it makes it so nice to not have to fight to get around! Places you know you will give them your repeat business! We have a goal to cre
ate a map of Acadiana with pins to let you know of accessible business locations! There are many businesses in and around Acadiana that are not up to code or just have accommodations that barely pass. There are many people who have mobility challenges that want nothing more than to get out and about in our community but avoid doing so because there's so many obstacles! I feel that there are alot of businesses missing out being able to serve this amazing community! While we understand that it may not always be the business owner at fault, property management needs to be made aware! These types of concerns are overlooked and are undervalued! I think it's time for that to change!
