Today our recipe came from our wonderful DPO, Tim, who shared his delicious Lemon Blueberry Sopapilla Recipe with us. The Residents had so much fun making this sweet treat and absolutely loved the end results. What a wonderful opportunity to come together and get creative in the kitchen. 🦋 Sometimes the perfect day starts with a simple conversation … 💜When our Life Enrichment Director, Darla, asked Robin, “If you could have the perfect day, what would that look like?” Robin didn’t hesitate.Her answer? “Spending the day in a butterfly garden with my best friend.” 🦋🌸So Darla got to work! Not only did she make Robin’s dream come true with a special visit to the butterfly garden at Columbian Park, but she took it one step further. 💕Robin was presented with her very own butterfly bush to help us create a butterfly garden right here in our courtyard! And the best part? Robin got to plant it herself. 🌱🦋What started as a simple conversation turned into a beautiful day, a special memory, and the beginning of something that will continue to bring joy for years to come.
