Unresolved emotions will create physical symptoms.

I can’t tell you how many emotions were the culprit of physical complaints WORKING IN CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE.

We have to take care of the body AND the nervous system/emotions. It all works together.

Curious if you have unresolved emotions? Take the wellness check: located in my bio.

Am I reading you like a book? It’s because I lived it, too. That was my life and it honestly sucked.

Every day I’d wake up and drink as much coffee as I could just to get through the day. Just to survive the 2pm hump. Just to survive the 4pm crash. I’d come home and nap before I could even make dinner for my sons. I was a single mom at the time, and I had no idea what my body actually needed, because conventional training never taught me that.

It wasn’t until I trained in functional and holistic medicine that I learned how to really take care of my body. And here’s what surprised me: it was never just one thing. We’re sold the idea that healing is one fix, just take this, just do that. That’s not reality.

This is why we don’t just practice functional medicine. We look at you through four lenses: conventional, functional, foundational, and frequency. Conventional, because sometimes you genuinely need it. Functional, to find the root cause. Foundational, because sleep, nutrition, movement, and nervous system regulation are non-negotiable. And frequency, which looks at your body’s own electromagnetic field, taking the guesswork out of what it actually needs.

Nobody else in this area blends these together the way we do, with the expertise we have, and with the fact that we’ve lived this ourselves. We treat your physical body, your emotional world, and your nervous system, because you are a whole person, not just one system.

I love hearing, ā€œI was a two out of ten before I came to see you, and now I’m an eight. I feel like myself again.ā€That feeling is everything, because I remember what it was like to not have it!!

What does your burnout feel like? I want to hear your story.

If this sounds like you, there’s hope. Link in bio for a Clarity Call.

Have you ever reacted to something and afterward realized, ā€œWow, I think I might have overreacted just a tadā€¦ā€ And then the shame creeps in. You replay it over and over, thinking, I don’t even know where that came from.

Or maybe it’s not even that big. Maybe it’s your hands starting to sweat, or that anxious feeling before you even open an email. Or before you open a text from someone you already know is about to cause trouble, because you’ve been through it with them before.

Here’s what’s actually happening: a trigger plus a physical symptom is called an NEC — a Neuro Emotional Complex. The trigger could be a word, a name, a tone of voice. The symptom is what your body does in response: racing heart, sweaty hands, tight chest, seeing red. When those two things keep showing up together, that’s not random. That’s information your body is giving you.

And here’s the part most people miss: these triggers don’t have to be dramatic to matter. They can run quietly in the background all day, every day. Things you don’t even consciously register as a problem, but your nervous system flags as one anyway. Every time that happens, it activates your sympathetic drive. Fight or flight switches on. Your stress response fires, over and over, without you ever noticing.

That’s exhausting. That background activation is why so many people feel run down for no clear reason — the fatigue sleep doesn’t fix, the brain fog that won’t lift. It’s not laziness, and it’s not ā€œjust stress.ā€ It’s your body running a stress response on a loop, burning energy you never realized you were spending.

This is your biology. Your emotions creating physiology. That’s an NEC.

Comment ā€œNETā€ and I’ll send you more on how this works.

You have three brains — and one of them might be running software from decades ago. šŸ’¾šŸ§

Your reptilian brain handles survival. Your limbic brain stores emotions and memory. Your neocortex thinks and reasons. But when stress or trauma gets lodged in that emotional brain, it loops on repeat — showing up as anxiety, pain, fatigue, hormone imbalance, and more.

In Neuro Emotional Technique, we call those stuck patterns NECs — Neuro Emotional Complexes. Old emotional software your body never got to delete.

NET helps clear it. And people often describe it as years of therapy condensed into a single session.

The science backs it up — fMRI studies from the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at Thomas Jefferson University, funded by the ONE Research Foundation, showed that NET actually changes how the brain communicates with itself. Stress centers quiet down. In chronic pelvic pain patients, they even saw measurable shifts in the cerebellum.

NET is for everyone. And this is just episode one. šŸ“Œ Save this — more videos coming.

Finding truly clean food today can feel almost impossible.

As somebody who talks about inflammation, hormones, gut health, nervous system regulation, detoxing, and the foundations of healing… food quality matters more than most people realize. Because in many ways, we become what THEY eat.

And unfortunately, labels don’t always tell the full story.

One thing I often encourage patients to prioritize first when possible is healthy fats, then quality meats, then produce — because how animals are raised, what they’re fed, and the environment they live in all matter.

Which is why we wanted to share Happy Life Ranch with you all.

Not only can you feel the level of care and intention behind what they do, but hearing who specifically seeks them out for their food quality honestly spoke volumes. When people walking through complex health challenges are intentionally searching for food sources they can truly trust… that says a lot.

And yes… Gilbert made the cut for favorite resident. šŸ®šŸ˜‚ (No, we do not eat Gilbert.)

They ship nationwide, and if you’re local enough, I definitely recommend visiting the ranch yourself.
