Moms need support, too. Through our partnership with the American Heart Association - Louisiana, some of our new and expecting mothers are receiving kits with a blood pressure cuff, infant CPR resources, wellness information, and nutrition and community resources.

Heart health is important during and after pregnancy. Keeping track of blood pressure can help moms stay informed about their health, while infant CPR education can help parents feel more prepared to care for their little ones. The kits also share information about healthy habits and resources available through InclusivCare and community partners.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Mammograms can help find breast cancer early, sometimes before symptoms appear. Talk with your healthcare provider about when screening is right for you and how often you should get it. If you notice changes in your breast, reach out to your provider. We’re here to support you in caring for your health. 💗

Enrollment Is Open. Healthy Blue is leaving Louisiana Medicaid, and members can now choose a new Healthy Louisiana health plan. Compare the 4 available health plans and select the option that works best for you and your family. Be sure to review which plans include your InclusivCare providers.

Enrollment ends November 16, 2026. Don't wait to choose your plan.

We loved joining Amanda on Radio La Fiesta New Orleans! Dr. Maritza Salgado Heuay, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, Deputy Medical Officer and Family Nurse Practitioner, spoke about Hispanic Heritage Month, InclusivCare’s new Kenner location and services, breast cancer awareness, su***de prevention, and ways to access healthcare resources in our community.
