Building something the right way takes time.

I wanted to give a quick update on the progress of the ELS Medical Billing Academy LMS platform. The first modules are nearly complete, and I’m extremely excited about the direction this training program is headed.

Right now, my primary focus is testing, troubleshooting, and making sure the student experience is seamless before launch. I’ve had several individuals testing the platform, and we’re still working through some access and permission issues behind the scenes.

Rather than rushing to release something unfinished, I’m taking the time to make sure every detail is properly configured, every link works, and every student has a smooth learning experience from start to finish. Quality matters to me.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support during this process. This platform is being built with long-term value, professionalism, and real-world medical billing education in mind — and I want to make sure it’s done correctly.

Building something meaningful takes time — and I want to be transparent with everyone following my LMS journey.

After diving deeper into the development process, I realized just how much content, downloadable resources, lesson materials, and learning tools needed to be created to make this course truly valuable. I underestimated the amount of time required, but I also refuse to rush something designed to help others succeed.

Perfection takes time — and I want this LMS to be more than just another course. I want it to be a true learning experience for anyone who invests in it.

Because of that, I’ll need about another week or so to complete the full LMS. I’ll be working diligently throughout this coming week to finalize everything and ensure it delivers real value, practical knowledge, and a professional learning experience.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and followed this journey. I’m excited to share what’s coming soon — and I promise it will be worth the wait.

Big milestone update! 🎉

I’m excited to share that I’m hoping to complete the first course module for the ELS Medical Billing Academy LMS this weekend, with a planned launch next weekend!

The first course, Medical Billing & Coding Foundations, has been a true labor of love. It’s packed with valuable information, downloadable resources, practical learning tools, and foundational knowledge designed to help students truly understand the world of medical billing and coding.

I’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to make sure this course delivers real value, whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to strengthen your knowledge in the healthcare revenue cycle space.

And this is only the beginning! Additional specialty modules are already in development, including:

• EMS & Ambulance Billing
• Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) Billing
• Primary Care Billing
• Specialty Billing Modules across various healthcare sectors

My goal is to have many of these additional courses completed and launched by late spring to early summer. I’m building this academy to become a valuable learning hub for those wanting to grow their knowledge in medical billing, coding, and specialty reimbursement.

This journey has taken dedication, long hours, and a lot of passion—but I’m excited about what’s ahead.

If you're a small business owner, now is the time to prepare, position, and pay attention.

Here are a few things every small business should focus on when entering government contracting:

✅ Make sure your SAM.gov registration is active and accurate
✅ Build a strong capability statement that clearly explains what you do
✅ Understand your NAICS codes and target agencies that buy your services
✅ Watch for Sources Sought notices and RFIs — these are often early indicators of future contracts
✅ Network with prime contractors for subcontracting opportunities
✅ Take advantage of small business certifications like HUBZone, WOSB, 8(a), and EDWOSB

Behind the scenes doesn’t mean standing still.

I’ve been focused on building—developing specialized medical billing and revenue cycle training, strengthening internal systems, and preparing my company for the next phase of growth.

At the same time, I’m actively positioning for government contracting opportunities, with SBA 8(a) and EDWOSB applications currently in review and ongoing preparation for GSA MAS.

Growth requires preparation before opportunity.
I’m committed to doing the work now so I’m ready when the door opens.
