Graduation season is beautiful for so many and quietly painful for others. If you’re grieving while the world celebrates, you are not alone.

As graduation photos fill our feeds, many bereaved parents are carrying a quieter story. As we celebrate the graduates we love.
We cheer for nieces, nephews, and friends. And at the same time, we may feel the ache of the child who isn’t here to walk across a stage, wear a cap and gown, or have their name called.
If this season feels heavy, you’re not doing grief wrong. Joy and sorrow can coexist.
Love makes room for both.
