Whether it’s a relationship, a job, a future imagined, or a part of life you’ve lost, healing often begins when you stop fighting the reality of what’s changed and slowly begin to let go.

Don’t worry we’re productive

Choose Your Circle Carefully

Ever notice how not everyone you open up to actually makes you feel better? Having people around isn’t the same as having the right people around. Some relationships genuinely protect you, while others quietly drain you.

If you’ve got people in your life who are genginely concerned about your well-being, that’s rare and worth holding onto. But if you’ve got people who are toxic, or unreliable, being vulnerable with them can actually hurt you, sometimes over and over, without you even realizing it’s happening.

Learn who’s safe to lean on and who isn’t. If your current circle doesn’t have that person yet, a counselor or trusted mentor is a solid place to start building one.

Healthy relationships increase job satisfaction and productivity. Here are 3 things you can do to develop those relationships:

1. Practice Healthy Communication
Listen actively and avoid interrupting when others are speaking. Ask open-ended questions to show that you care about their perspective.

2. Say Thank You
Don't let good work go unnoticed. Calling out something specific someone did well makes them feel seen and strengthens the trust between you.

3. Ask for Advice
Asking a coworker for their input shows you value what they bring to the table. It's one of the easiest ways to actually get to know them and shows respect for their expertise.

You miss the people that brought so many good things in your life.

Your family
Your best friends

Nobody necessarily left. Nothing happened. Things just…drifted, and now it feels weird.

That feeling isn't you being dramatic. It's your brain telling you something needs attention before it actually turns into something bigger.

Loneliness doesn't always look like being alone. Sometimes it looks like missing people who are still fully in your life, just far away right now. And the longer you leave it, the easier it is to convince yourself it's already too late to fix.

It's not.

Missing someone you haven't lost yet is actually the best time to reach out, not proof you waited too long. So don't wait for the distance to get worse. Text them now while it's still just a feeling.

Being alone and being lonely are not the same thing.

Being alone is just the fact that you’re by yourself and there’s no one else in the room. It can even feel good, like when you actually want the quiet time to recharge.

Loneliness is a whole different thing, it’s a feeling. You can feel lonely with zero people around you, or surrounded by a hundred people and still feel it just as bad.

That’s because loneliness isn’t really about how many people are around you, it’s about how connected you actually feel to them. You can be at a party, in the caf with your friend group, or on a call with your family and still feel like nobody actually gets what’s going on with you. That disconnect, feeling emotionally or socially unseen, is the real definition of lonely.

So if you’re someone who genuinely likes your alone time, that’s not the problem. The problem shows up when alone time turns into feeling disconnected, unseen, or like nobody would notice if you disappeared for a while. That’s the version worth paying attention to, because that’s the version that actually messes with your health and mood over time.
