The Wellness Way – Lake Forest is a thriving health restoration clinic within an international network of clinics, and we’re looking for a passionate, organized, creative, and people-focused Patient Coordinator to join our team!
This is not your typical front-desk position. It’s a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who loves working with people, enjoys creating content, thrives when every day looks a little different, and wants to play an important role in a growing clinic.
You’ll help us create an exceptional patient experience, share our message through marketing and social media, and support the day-to-day needs that keep our clinic moving forward.
Schedule
This is an in-person, part-time position with hours primarily:
Monday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Occasional evening and weekend availability may be needed for clinic events.
Pay: $17–$19/hour
What You'll Do
-Create an Exceptional Patient Experience
-You’ll be one of the first faces and voices our patients interact with—and an important part of making sure they feel welcomed, cared for, and supported throughout their experience with us.
This includes:
-Greeting and checking patients in and out
-Answering phones and assisting with patient questions
-Scheduling and managing appointments
-Collecting payments and processing charges
-Coordinating shipments
-Helping maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
-Following up with patients and helping ensure they stay connected to their next steps
-Communicating with our clinical team so patient needs and important details don’t fall through the cracks
Help Us Create + Share Our Content
-Education is a huge part of what we do, and we’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about helping us share our message.
You’ll work alongside our team to help:
-Brainstorm content ideas
-Capture photos and videos inside the clinic
-Help film short-form video content
-Create and edit social media content
-Write and/or assist with captions
-Schedule and publish content
-Repurpose content across multiple platforms
-Help create and publish blog content
-Keep our content organized and moving consistently
-Identify opportunities to share what’s happening inside the clinic with our community
You do not need to be a professional marketing strategist. We’re looking for someone who is creative, comfortable with social media, a strong communicator, willing to learn, and excited to take an idea and help bring it to life.
Support the Day-to-Day
-You’ll also work directly with me and our team to support the day-to-day needs of a busy, growing clinic.
-Some days that may mean preparing for an event. Another day it may be helping organize something behind the scenes, following up with a patient, filming content, getting an email out, or taking care of a task that needs attention.
-We need someone who is comfortable with variety and can shift between responsibilities without losing track of the details.

Comfortable being behind—and potentially in front of—a camera
Familiar with social media and willing to learn new platforms and tools
A strong written and verbal communicator
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
Able to follow through and make sure things don’t fall through the cracks
Proactive—you notice what needs attention and are willing to jump in
Comfortable taking direction while also working independently
Passionate about health, wellness, and alternative approaches to healthcare
Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, administration, social media, marketing, or content creation is a plus.
