I'm a little late posting this, but I want to give a big thank you to Rachel Geerts LaFleur !! ❤️

Rachel dropped off my newly modified King of Wings plaque last Friday, and I absolutely love it! 👑🍗

She took the time to give it that special Queen of Wings touch, and it means a lot to me.

This SideChick had one heck of a birthday weekend! 🐥❤️

Friday brought a birthday-inspired Dessert of the Day and a little karaoke with my husband between orders! 🎤😂 Saturday was spent with my daughters, mom, and grandbabies, then out celebrating with friends that night.

To my SideChick’s customers, thank y’all for being part of something so close to my heart. Every order, visit, kind word, and shared laugh means more than you know. Y’all aren’t just supporting my business — you’re helping me live out a dream!

GOOOOOOD MORNING SWLA!!!!

Jake here, it's been a hot minute since I've made a post on this page, not since the Smokehouse '36 days! I hope you are all doing amazing and are enjoying all of the awesomeness that is SideChick's!!! (She's been absolutely CRUSHING it!!!) From my seat here behind the scenes I happen to know of some total greatness she has planned for you guys in the future, and I have no doubt y'all are gonna LOVE the deliciousness, so be sure to tell all of your friends and family to hop aboard the flavor train!!!! I may not be at the helm this time around but I want y'all to know that I miss seeing y'all every day and I love this community!!!

Speaking of SideChick, that brings me to the reason for my post.....

I would love for y'all join me in wishing a big ol' HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the queen bee herself!!!!!

She loves her home grown roots here in this community and each of you as her own family! You can taste it in the food she puts out of her kitchen. It's the same love and passion she puts out of the kitchen here at home to feed her own family, because to her, each one of you is her family and you can't convince her otherwise! (Not that I would try to anyway!)

If anyone else would have came up to me in our current times and economy and said "hey Jake, I think we should jump back into the food service business." I would have laughed them right out of the house. But when she said it I couldn't say no because I know passion and talent like hers is always worth betting on!!!

I hope y'all have a GREAT WEEKEND, and I look forward to seeing y'all around the kitchen! (Ya better come hungry!!!)
