Teaching about the different types of dementia under the “dementia umbrella” was such a rewarding experience at the Sonna Singleton Gregory Senior Center.

Using my umbrella prop as a visual to explain the many forms of dementia helped create meaningful conversations, learning, and engagement. The attendees were attentive, interactive, and asked thoughtful questions that made this session truly special.

Education, awareness, and community conversations matter. 💜

It was an honor volunteering at the Henry County Spring Fling for Seniors in support of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Not only did we enjoy the festivities, fellowship, and dancing—we were also able to share valuable Alzheimer’s education and resources with 215 lives in our community. Every conversation matters. Every family touched matters. Every life impacted matters.

Serving with purpose while having fun—that’s what community is all about 💜🧠✨
